The information, calculations, dates, and templates it provides are general information for educational and organizational purposes only. No attorney–client relationship is formed by your use of LienAlert, by creating an account, or by contacting us. Communications through the service are not protected by attorney–client privilege.

3. We do not practice law

LienAlert performs mechanical date calculations based on the facts you enter and provides blank templates that you complete and file yourself. We do not select which legal document or notice applies to your situation, we do not prepare legal documents for you, and we do not exercise legal judgment on your behalf. Those are decisions for you and your attorney.

4. Accuracy and your responsibility

Deadlines depend entirely on the accuracy and completeness of the information you provide, and lien law is complex, fact-specific, and subject to change. While we work hard to encode each state's rules correctly and have them reviewed by licensed attorneys, we cannot guarantee that any date, calculation, or template is accurate, complete, or appropriate for your situation. You are responsible for verifying every deadline and every document with a licensed attorney in your state before relying on it.

5. No guarantee of outcome

LienAlert is a safety net, not a guarantee. We do not guarantee that using the service will preserve any lien right, result in payment, or prevent the loss of any claim.

6. State availability

We support the states for which we have built deadline rules from that state's own statutes. We add states over time. The dates we show are general information, and you are responsible for confirming them for your specific situation.
